Uses: Use WoodEpox indoors and outdoors on window frames and sills, doors. columns, furniture, sculptures, and structural and decorative elements.
Features & Benefits: WoodEpox is a shrink-free epoxy compound that replaces, repairs, extends, and fills wood and most rigid materials. It permanently bonds to most surfaces. It is chemical, water, heat, and weather resistant, and dimensionally stable. WoodEpox has a no-slump consistency and can be used in any thickness or shape for structural and decorative restoration. WoodEpox works so well because like wood it can be: painted, stained, drilled, carved, sawed, nailed, planed, sanded, routed, and machined.
Technical Characteristics: Mix A and B together in equal volumes until a uniform color is achieved. Hardens within one to two hours.
Lightweight 3 .8lb/gal. approx. Pot Life: 20 minutes, so mix only what you can use within that time frame. WoodEpox is 100% epoxy solids and contains no VOCs or noxious odors. GREENGUARD Certified®

Yes, that application should work well. You may want to mix in some of our pigments if you don't plan to paint/stain after application.
WoodEpox® should be used at temperatures 60ºF or warmer. We do have a cold weather hardener for WoodEpox if it is essential. If the temperature is too cool when applied, WoodEpox may never harden properly. For more on this subject, contact technical support at 800/445-1754.
Yes, WoodEpox should bond to wood to which wood hardener has been applied. Adding enough WoodEpox at one time to fill a void is preferable.
We're so glad you enjoyed using our products! We don’t have a maximum recommended temperature established. 120 ® F heat will considerably speed up the hardening process.
