Uses: Bora-Care® prevents and controls termites, insects, and wood decay fungi such as brown and white rot. Use on bare wood that is regularly in contact with water, such as crawl spaces, decks, sills, columns, joists, beams, logs, siding, and fences. Bora-Care is extremely versatile and can be used indoors or outdoors on wet or dry wood or wood-based surfaces. It is compatible with LiquidWood® and WoodEpox® and is most effective prior to making epoxy repairs.

Maintaining existing structure that I finish every 2 years with a 3/part oil finish, can Bora-Care be used prior to a new coat of the oil
- If I have wood that is already showing signs of penetrating mold and the wood still seems stable, can I apply liberal amounts of Bora-Care and will it kill existing mold and protect going forward? I plan on coating with Abatron liquid wood once the Bora-Care treatment is thoroughly dried. Thanks in advance . Richard
- I have a scribed log garage, one 25' log has a 12' section mid length that suffered 'sun scald" on the top quadrant and sounds hollow and I suspect dry rot. I was intending to drill holes and injecting Liquid Wood, can I inject BoraCare into the same holes or will the salts prevent absorption of the epoxy?

Once Bora-Care is applied to the wood, it remains in the wood for the life of
the structure, delivering long-term residual protection. It will protect interior wood as well as exterior wood that remains painted or sealed.
I applied Bora-care to a very large wood sculpture that is in a public space (library). I would like to apply either linseed oil or tung oil with synthetic resins as a finish coat. Any concerns? What is the recommended drying time for Bora-care before the finish oil coats?

The wood should be completely dried back out after application of the Bora-Care before applying any other product. I don't believe there would be any problems with the finish coats you are considering.
