I don't think so, as long as you allow the product to completely dry before apply your epoxy product. You may want to check with the manufacturer of the epoxy you are using and/or the manufacturer of Bora-Care.
Can Bora-Care be used effectively to prevent rot, or reduce the acceleration of rot, on new lumber for installation below grade? Can Bora-Care be used in conjunction with treated lumber, for below grade installation?
- My big wood deck has no roof over it. Summer is coming and it is very dry, so I would normally put an oil on it to rehydrate it, or perhaps a stain to protect it from UV. But in the winter it is very rainy, so two years ago I applied Bora-Care. 1- how often should one apply bora-care to prevent rot? 2- I don't blieve bora-care re-hydrates, so what would you suggest I do, and in what order? Thanks!
