Hello! I'm in a house built in 1938, and we are starting to get water seepage into the garage through the back wall. Wondering if we can use Aboweld 55-1 on a vertical surface, particularly if we can only access the interior portion of the wall since the exterior portion of the wall is below grade? Thank you.

Yes, you can use Aboweld 55-1 vertically. It's a very thick, sticky product. If you have access to the crack, you can use Abojet and Abowled 55-1 to seal the crack.

Aboweld is a very thick, sticky product and cannot be brushed on. It needs to be troweled on or applied with a putty knife. You need to make sure the area is clean and free of any dirty, debree, grease, etc.

If can try to use the Aboweld 55-1 for the hair line crack. You could also use the Abojet, a structural wall injection product. You would need to widen the crack, install injection ports, damn up the crack with Aboweld 55-1, inject Abojet through the ports. Ideally, you should have access to both sides of the wall.

This is now the third time I’m ordering Aboweld 55-1. 1928 Spanish house, 4 original concrete ponds that continue to develop different cracks. I fixed one of them 8 years ago with this product and when I the pond this time, those repairs were as good as new and PERFECT! This stuff is AMAZING!
