Abocrete™ Kit

Liquid Epoxy Compound for Patching, Resurfacing, and Rebuilding Concrete.

Uses: Repairs industrial floors, loading docks, sidewalks, driveways, stairs, parking decks, and ship docks permanently and cost-effectively. Perfect for fixing pitted, spalled, worn or cracked concrete. Abocrete bonds, levels, rebuilds, and resurfaces concrete and most rigid surfaces. Holds up well to heavy forklift and truck traffic. Eliminates tripping hazards both at home and in the workplace. Also great for anchoring posts and railings and installing machinery, precasts, columns, and more. Use with forms to rebuild steps and vertical columns.

Features and Benefits: Easy to mix and apply. Blend in sand to create a cement-like epoxy compound that self-levels and is shrink-free. Apply in any thickness for a finish that is stronger than concrete! Change the viscosity by adding sand or aggregate. It makes a great floor and deck coating that can be made slip resistant by broadcasting sand or ColorGrit™ over the wet Abocrete. It is unaffected by salt water, oils, and other chemicals that erode concrete.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q what release agent do you recommend using with ABOCRETE product?
    Answered by the admin

You can use seran wrap, butchers wax, silicone spray or our Abhesive 15C.

  2. Q I’m using the small kit to resurface and level a step. Would I still have to make a form if I’m only doing a surface smear on a 2 inch riser for aesthetics?
    Answered by the admin

Abocrete is a self-leveling product. Anywhere there is not a flat horizontal surface may require a form. If you are just coating an level horizontal surface, more than likely you will not need a form.

  3. Q Can I brush and roll this product on a concrete foundation wall
    Answered by the admin

    You can roll it on.

  4. Q I have basement walls that have flakey/crumbly surface. This extends from the floor to about 5' high and a distance of about 10'. I've scraped the loose stuff a mix cement and gravel. I'd like to cover this but not sure which product to use. Abocrete kit or Aboweld 551?? I'd like something that will penetrate the existing and bond with it. Workable to create a smooth finish on vertical walls.
    Answered by the admin

We do not have a product that will penetrate into the concrete. You can use our Aboweld 55-1 on a verticle surface. It's a no slump adhesive paste product that can be used for building that surface back up.

  5. Q Would Abocrete be suitable to use for repairing above grade footers in an old warehouse? The footers have chunks missing most likely from careless forklift operators. They are about 15"x15"x10". Would I be able to build a form around them and pour in Abocrete? How much sand in the mix would be appropriate for such a repair? Thank you.
    Answered by the admin

Yes, you can use it in that manner. You would have to build a form and you would need to use a release agent on the form so the Abocrete does not bond to it. You can mix up anywhere from 1 - 5 parts of sand with the Abocrete if you would like.
