Abocrete™ Kit

Liquid Epoxy Compound for Patching, Resurfacing, and Rebuilding Concrete.

Uses: Repairs industrial floors, loading docks, sidewalks, driveways, stairs, parking decks, and ship docks permanently and cost-effectively. Perfect for fixing pitted, spalled, worn or cracked concrete. Abocrete bonds, levels, rebuilds, and resurfaces concrete and most rigid surfaces. Holds up well to heavy forklift and truck traffic. Eliminates tripping hazards both at home and in the workplace. Also great for anchoring posts and railings and installing machinery, precasts, columns, and more. Use with forms to rebuild steps and vertical columns.

Features and Benefits: Easy to mix and apply. Blend in sand to create a cement-like epoxy compound that self-levels and is shrink-free. Apply in any thickness for a finish that is stronger than concrete! Change the viscosity by adding sand or aggregate. It makes a great floor and deck coating that can be made slip resistant by broadcasting sand or ColorGrit™ over the wet Abocrete. It is unaffected by salt water, oils, and other chemicals that erode concrete.

Customer Questions & Answers

  1. Q I poured a driveway 44 ft long 8 ft wide. Before the surface was cured we had a pop up rain storm that too the broomed finish off the top and left visible aggregate. The pour was a week ago. There has been no traffic on the new concrete. Can I re-surface using this product and make a comparable broom finish to match the adjacent pads? The resurface would be about 1/4" thick. Would this withstand vehicle traffic and 4 season weather? How much material would you estimate needing? Would you use sand or not? Thanks
A You can use Abocrete to create a durable boom finish. Call customer service at 800/445-1754 to discuss details of application.
  2. Q Is it possible to colour the product?
A If a custom color is needed, it is best to order it with the product. Customer service at 800/445-1754 can help with the details.
  3. Q Our concrete patio is not level so when it rains, we have large puddles in our sitting areas. Would this product be a good fix for this problem>
A Yes. Abocrete self-levels and bond permanently to concrete. It is also impervious to water and ice. Add sand to the Abocrete mixture to expand the volume.
  4. Q I wanted to use this on bottom of a canoe to seal holes. Going to use fiberglass patch outside amd spread / paint on abocrete inside on floor of canoe to thicken bottom and seal. Do you think this will bond to fiberglass and not crack ?
    Answered by the admin

The ABOCRETE will bond to the fiberglass. However, depending on the thickness to which it is applied, there is no guarantee that it will not crack.

  5. Q Can you apply multiple coats of Abocrete onto to a surface? Will it bond to itself? I recently used applied Abocrete ( without sand ) to my porch stoop. It did not self level over some to the spalling areas. I would like to apply second coat. Regards Rod Nangreave
    Answered by the admin

Yes, Abocrete will bond to itself. If it has been a while since you first applied it, use a primer such as Primekote 8006-1 OR sand to improve adhesion.
