Sill repaired with Abatron’s Wood Restoration Kit.
The workshop will demonstrate how to restore wood that crumbles using simple hand pressure into durable, functional wood that can be painted, nailed, shaped, and worked like wood! The products that make this possible are LiquidWood®, a low viscosity wood consolidant, and WoodEpox®, an epoxy wood replacement compound. They make permanent repairs, are easy to use, cost-effective, and contain no solvents or noxious odors. LiquidWood and WoodEpox have been used for several decades to restore thousands of historic structures, residences, and commercial buildings. They are now available in the U.K. at selected dealers and on-line.
Before repair. LiquidWood® applied. WoodEpox® applied. After repair.
The workshop will be led by Marco Caporaso. He encourages participants to bring pictures of their projects to discuss. “This is not a system that requires any special training, and after two hours, you will be a pro,” Marco asserted.
Abatron, Inc., founded in 1959 and located in Kenosha, Wisconsin U.S.A., is a manufacturer of epoxy adhesives and coatings for wood, concrete, and metal and other chemical specialties.
